View Full Version : FrontPage webmaster default address
Hello All,
Presently all of our accounts that activate FrontPage get the webmaster email address set as webmaster@ourdomain.com.
I'd like to change this so that the address is set to webmaster@clientdomain.com. Is this possible and how?
You can go into the Clients Control Panel select domain, select edit, select Front Page, choose FIX, then the bottom portion of the screen, has from and reply to addresses.
Craig
Craig,
Thank you, but I know that. What I don't want to have to do is go into everyone of our clients webs and reset the webmaster address to theirs. Our address should not be the default address for our clients webs....
Oops. Sorry may there is an undocument command line parameter to this command:
/hsphere/shared/scripts/frontpage-install [path to the domain directory] [domain name] [port] [unix user name] [unix user group] [login] [password] [www domain alias]
I think if memory serves me correctly you would have to un-install front page extentions from each account, then re-add it with the username and passowrd, that is why there is not an "ADMIN Fix front page button function"
Craig
Okay, that works for existing webs, of which I only have a few because I am migrating. But new ones is my main concern. Is this an H-Sphere bug?
