Hello,

I have a greek translation file hsphere_lang_el_EL.properties located inside the custom template folder. Greek and English e-mails work in signups and depend of what language will the customer choose before he signups.

Now I test the suspend/unsuspend functions with a testing account. If I choose at the admin control panel the English language then the suspend/unsuspend notification e-mails are sent in English. If at the admin control I choose the Greek language then the suspend/unsuspend notification e-mails sent in Greek.

Is it possible to send suspend/unsuspend e-mails in Greek or English and hsphere to automatically choose the language (by taking the data from the Billing Profile -> Country). For example if the customer is located in Greece to get the greek e-mail notification even if the admin that suspends his account has choose the English language.

I hope you understand me.

No, h-sphere only uses the admin language.

It's strange that function does not exist. What happens if you suspend a greek customer account and he doesn't know english? Or an english customer that doesn't know greek?

Does anyone found a solution?

Hi,

I have the same problem here.
Maybe you can put Greek section and English section in one mail.

Ronald.

Can you put a poll to this thread asking if the emails should be sent in the user's choice or in admin language only. So we can vote?

Yes, please vote.

If a customer uses a non translated language then it should be a default language that the mails will be sent.

I actually always found this a little bit weird as h-sphere actually stores the customer's choice in the hsphere db (actually the same way that admin choice is stored) so it could easily use this information.

Yes it seems an easy task to be done by the developers. They can easily add 1 more function: To map languages with translations from a menu.

For example:

Country -> Translation
Greece -> Greek
England -> English GB
USA -> English US

What I see from the votes is that US companies want to sent by admin choise and all other companies that need to use more than 1 language preffer the 1st option.

Let's see the results in few days.
