As I have seen on MANY other boards... when the topic of who offers H-Sphere hosting comes up everyone points the question asker to http://psoft.net/resellers.php. That page is far from a complete list of who offers web hosting using H-Sphere. Infact that is only a list of reseller who can sell H-Sphere licenses.

Over the last couple of days we have taken the time to build a directory site that hopefully will be the new answer to the above question. The directory is open to anyone who wants to be listed and is 100% unbiased (as long as you offer H-Sphere hosting).

If anyone is interested in getting listed in this directory, browse over to http://www.hspherehosts.com and signup.

Also before anyone askes how the results are pulled, let me tell you. It is 100% random ordering. There is no pre-determined order in which the hosts display and the "Host Spotlight" on the main page also randomly pulls 3 hosts from the database.

Enjoy.

As long as the system is unbiased, and as soon as it hits 20+ hosts listed - we will link to it. We often get people asking for reseller accounts for h-sphere, hosting accounts in h-sphere, as well as companies that have sitestudio.

btw, I don't see major problems if there is advertisement on this site (as long as it is h-sphere related advertisements) to subsidize the costs of the site (or make profit).
I planned to make site like that long time ago - but never had resources available. If anyone sees the problem with advertisement - please, voice it now :)

That we be really nice if psoft would link to it. So far in 1 day we have had a total of 15 hosts signup and get listed. So I wouldnt think it would be too hard to get 5 more.

I have not made a decision about advertising yet. The point of the site wasn't to make a profit. It was to make a place where users could go to get H-Sphere based hosting and provide people with a valid answer to the previously mentioned question.

Carlos also mentioned in another thread that he was going to make one similar to this. I took the time to do it (since it only took 2 days) so you guys wouldn't have too. I know you guys have better things to do (like building the features in my hsphere) then to take time out to build a site like this.

Are you going to be advertising or tweeking for search engine position.
if so you should advetise to help pay for it ;)

It could be a good source of customers for all of us big and small if all listings are random and you don't charge the hosting company.

Thanks, Great Idea ;)

This is now done. It's not totally "support" related, I mainly made it a directory of resources for h-sphere hosts.

If anyone is interested.. it can be found at http://www.hsphereresources.com

(yes i know it looks exactly like the other one.. i am lazy and used the same files)

Once you have signed up and added a "resource", go to manage (while your logged in) and specify details about the "resource"

The directory now contains 27 hosting "brands" in it. Just figured i would let you know :D

I was talking about hsphereresources.com! Just wondering if anyone uses an outsourced client helpdesk.. For answering day to day questions from clients. There are times when I can't be in front of a computer... :) Having something like this might help me enjoy my wife a little more. I know she'd go for it!

Hi Dan,

Just to clarify... You're looking for someone to answer trouble tickets for you? That would be an excellent service for someone to offer. You got my wheels turning now... let me think on it a bit and see what I can come up with.

That's correct. Your typical questions are related to basic hosting features, how do I's etc. Smaller hosts out there can't afford to have someone man a computer 24 hours/day just in case someone has a question. Would be a good service for someone to offer I'd imagine.
