Hsphere still lacks in the marketing section of things. I've tried the site toolbox affiliate program that is available, but the cheapest plan is $20 a month for my clients.

Is anyone using anything cheaper or better for that matter, to provide their clients with better marketing tools?

Do you ever watch the Progressive Insurance commercials?

Like the one where the house / apartment is flooding, inside possessions are floating in the water, and the plumber comes in ready to solve the owners problem only to be asked for three quotes from competitors?

When I see those commericals, it makes me think.... hmm... do I want problems solved, or the cheapest price?

That is a good commercial!!

The bottom line is that most marketing software through control panels are junk anyway, but It would be nice to look like we offered something.

For example, one sales I had was:

"Aplus.net has marketing tools like;
Sales letter tool new
Search engine submission new
Search engine saturation new
Search engine optimization
Link popularity new

... what do you have?"

Now, I agree with having a good price and good quality, but it seems many other control panels and hosting companies has something to offer for free and we just have a site submitter.

As useless as they are and even though no one uses half of the features of their control panel, they want a company that looks like they offer the most for their money. SEO and site marketing are becoming big things because there are so many sites our there and my customers know this.
